Linda Patricia (Young) Patterson

Linda Young Patterson, age 71, passed away on January 11, 2022 at her home.  She was born in Gaston County, daughter of the late Ervin and Mary Young.  Linda will be remembered as a Godly woman who loved and cared for her family with her whole heart.  She was a dedicated wife mother, and Grandmother who enjoyed being out on the water.    In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her two sisters: Becky Ward, and Brenda Farmer, and her two brothers: Edward and Bobby Young Sr. Those left to cherish her memory in include her husband Larry Patterson; her daughter Marie Wylie (Wayne Jr.), a granddaughter Victoria Wylie, her three sisters:  Margaret and Shirley Stone, and Beatrice Young; her nephews: Luke Scott, Ricky Stone, and Eddie, Tony, Terry, and Carson Young, and her nieces: Sherry and Stephanie Scott.  A service to celebrate Linda's life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday January 14, 2022 in the chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home, Mount Holly with Pastor Rick Ivey officiating.  The family will greet guests beginning one hour prior to the service also at the Funeral Home.  Burial will follow at Hillcrest Gardens Cemetery, Mount Holly.
