Linda Taylor Obituary

Linda Hance Taylor, 73, of Cramerton, passed away on Tuesday January 3, 2023 at Caromont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia.  She was born in Mecklenburg County and was the daughter of the late Paul and Susan Hance.  Linda loved her family dearly and will be remembered as someone who loved to travel and also enjoyed crossword puzzles.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sisters: Sandra Russell, and Debbie Lavin; as well as her brother in law's Mike Nixon, and Nelson Russell.  Those left to cherish her memory include her two sons: Barry (Taylor), and David Taylor (April); a sister Margie Nixon; a brother Paul Henry Nance, ten grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.  A service to celebrate her life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday January 5, 2023 in the Chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home, Mount Holly with Pastor Thomas Lavin officiating.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Thursday also at the Funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers, memorials can be sent to the American Cancer Society.
