Lisa (Rick) Cole

Lisa Rick Cole, 59, passed away on Thursday, February 8, 2024, at her home. She was born in Mecklenburg County, daughter of Vickie Belk Rick and the late Edward Leon Rick. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her sister, Angela Rick Bell.

Lisa is survived by her husband of 22 years, F. Blaine Cole II; her daughter, Tori Cole; her sister, Gina Rick Eldridge and husband, Ron; her best-friend, Amanda Pryor Eldridge; nieces and nephews, Zach, Maygan (Eldridge), Brittany and Brandon (Bell).

Lisa grew up in Mount Holly and graduated from East Gaston High School in 1982. She earned her associates degree from Gaston Community College in 1984 and went to work at Charlotte Memorial Hospital, now Atrium Health. Lisa worked as a Unit Secretary at Atrium Health for 39 years. Even though her job at the hospital could be stressful and difficult at times she never tired of helping others. She will be missed by her many friends and co-workers at Atrium Health Pineville.

A service to celebrate Lisa’s life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 13, 2024, at the Woodlawn Chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home, Mount Holly. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Gardens Cemetery, Mount Holly. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
