Lois Dover Benfield, 68, of Belmont, passed away on Friday, September 10, 2021. She was born in York, South Carolina to the late Charles and Ethel Roberts Dover. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Those left to cherish her memory include her husband Barry Joe Benfield, Sr.; her children, Richard Ray Benfield, Barry Benfield, Jr. (Teresa), and James Phillip Benfield; two nephews; an uncle; an aunt; numerous grandchildren; as well as two sisters-in-law, Judy Benfield and Billie Chapman. Services for Lois will be private. Arrangements are in the care of Woodlawn Funeral Home in Mount Holly.
