Patricia (Moore) Hope

Patricia Moore Hope, 87, died June 20, 2019 at Caromont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia. She was born in Mecklenburg County, daughter of the late Harry Clyde and Daphne Allen Moore. She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years Luther Allen Hope, a brother Harry "Buddy ' Moore, and her twin sisters Jean and Jane. She was a longtime member of the First United Methodist Church in Stanley, where she had served as a Girl Scout Troop leader, and was active in numerous church activities. 

Those surviving include her children Lynn H. Hobby and husband Tom, Mary H. Daniel and husband Loyd, Harry Hope and wife Lori, and her grandchildren Josh Daniel and Dylan Hope.

A Memorial Service to Celebrate her life will be held 2:00 p..m. Monday June 24th at the First United Methodist Church in Stanley with Pastor Noel Sweezy officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. There will be a Dessert reception following the service in the church fellowship building.
