Richard Arlen Beaty Obituary

Richard Arlen Beaty, 89, of Belmont, met Jesus face to face on Sunday, January 31, 2021. He was born in Gaston County to the late Ervin and Mabel Cloninger Beaty. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife Nancy Spencer Beaty; a son Charles David Beaty and his wife Robin, and a daughter Beth Ann Beaty; 3 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren. A graveside service will be held to celebrate Mr. Beaty's life at 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 5, 2021 at Gaston Memorial Park in Gastonia. Arrangements are in the care of Woodlawn Funeral Home in Mount Holly. Online condolences may be left at www.woodlawnfuneral.org.
