Robert Eric Steele

Robert Eric Steele, 64, of Charlotte, passed away on Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at his home. He was born in Edgecombe County to the late Howard J. Steele and Thelma Laney Steele. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers Richard Lee Steele and Roland Timothy Steele. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife Amanda; his sons, Matthew Keith Steele and his wife Geneva and James C. Corthren III and his fiance Blaine; nine grandchildren; his sister Tammy Steele Mace; one niece and one nephew; and his three fur babies Maddie, Cali, and Pistol. The family will greet guests from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 12, 2021 at Harvest Church, 7429 Tuckaseegee Road, Charlotte, NC, 28214. A service to celebrate his life, officiated by Pastor Tom Chidester, will be held immediately following at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Harvest Church at the address above.
