Ronald Ray Ballard

Ronald "Ron" Ray Ballard, 83, of Stanley, passed away on Saturday, September 17, 2022. He was born in Iredell County to the late Millard E. Ballard and Emma Kennedy Ballard. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Jerry Ballard. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Ann; his sons, Destry Ray Ballard and his wife, Suzanne, Stacey Lynn Ballard, and Chad Anton Ballard and his wife, Traci; as well as five grandchildren, Savannah, Kennedy, Destry II, Matthew, and Noah Ballard. He was a loving husband, father, and pawpaw, and will be missed tremendously. The family will greet guests from 12:30 until 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, September 20 at New Covenant United Methodist Church, 14514 Lucia Riverbend Highway, Mount Holly. A service to celebrate his life will be held immediately following at 1:30, also at the church. Interment will conclude at Hillcrest Gardens Cemetery, Mount Holly.
