Shirley Christine (Green) Lefler

Shirley Green Lefler, 86, of Mount Holly, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, October 11, 2021.  She was born in Mecklenburg County to the late Ralph O'Neil Green and Dolly Melissa McDonald Green.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Zeb Wilbert Lefler, as well as her siblings, Cecil Green, Fred Green, Jim Green, Stella Maxcine Lindsey, Charles Green, and Bobby Green.  Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Sheila L. Phillips and her husband Steve, Michael Lefler and his wife Julie, Robin Burke and her husband Donovan, and Shannon McDonald and her significant other Kevin Rouse; her grandchildren, Ashley Mitchler, Autumn Balf, Courtney Johnson, Cody Lefler, Grant Phillips, Brea Ballenger, Sarah Burke, Jessica Green, Lindsay Burke, Lacey McDonald, and Ryan McDonald; as well as 23 great grandchildren.  The family will greet guests from 12:00 until 1:00 p.m. Thursday, October 14, 2021 at Woodlawn Funeral Home in Mount Holly.  A service to celebrate her life will be held immediately following at 1:00, also at the funeral home.  Interment will conclude at Forest Lawn West Cemetery in Charlotte.
