Tammy Bowman Obituary
Tammy Lanier Bowman, 55, went to be with her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, July 7, 2020. She was born on July 29, 1964 in Gaston County, NC, daughter of William Rae Lanier and Kay Armstrong Lanier. Tammy touched the lives of many and was loved by all. Her calling in life was helping others and she had a way of making everyone feel special. She will be greatly missed by all.
In addition to her parents, Ms. Bowman is survived by her son, R. Aaron Bowman and his wife, Toni; her sister, Donna Lanier Schott and her husband, Gene; her brother, Jimmy Lanier and his wife, Renee; her nieces, Madison Schott and Meredith Fields; her nephews, Tyler Brock, Andrew Lanier and Blake Lanier; her fur baby, Roxi; and her granddog, Basil.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 9, 2020 at the church. A service to celebrate her life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, July 10, 2020 at Stanley Pentecostal Holiness Church. Rev. Dr. Danny Penny and Rev. Eddie McGinnis will officiate. Entombment will follow at Hillcrest Gardens Cemetery, Mount Holly.
