Virginia (Alexander) Johnson

Virginia Alexander Johnson, went home to be with the Lord on Monday February 12, 2024 at Caromont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia.  She was born in Mecklenburg County and was the daughter of the late Billie Alexander Sr. and Patsy Ewing Alexander.  She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother and will be dearly missed by her entire family.  She retired from Ramsey products after 26 years of dedicated service.  She was also a longtime active member of Goshen Presbyterian Church in Belmont. 

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother Billy Alexander Jr.  Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband of 56 years Lewis Johnson; her children: Patrick Johnson (Holly), Sherry Nicks (Terry), and Stephanie Sizemore (Joe), her two sisters: Anne Harkey (Roger), and Kathryne Payne (Dwayne); her grandchildren: Meagan, Bradley, Elijah, Austin, Gracie, Dixie, and Nicholas; her great grandchildren: Addisyn, Levi, Kaceton, Caroline, and Waylon, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.  A service to celebrater her life will be held at 1:00 p.m on Saturday February 24, 2024 at Goshen Presbyterian Church in Belmont.  The family will recieve friends from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m on Saturday also at the Church.
