W.A. Price

W.A. Price, 73, passed away on Monday, February 5, 2024, at his home, surrounded by his family. He was born in Union County, son of the late Alfred N. Price and Helen Helms Price. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Marilyn Price, Rondle Price, and Therrell Price.

Mr. Price is survived by his wife of 56 years, Susan Price; his children, Cindy Elmore (Robert), Wendy McCall (Mark), and Sam Price (Crystal); his grandchildren, Morgan Elmore, Jacob McCall, Sam Price, and Savannah Price; special niece, Charlotte Elkins; and a number of nieces and nephews.

A service to celebrate the life of Mr. Price will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 7, 2024, at Community Pentecostal Center, Stanley. Burial will follow the service at 3:30 p.m. at Price Cemetery, 5014 Friendly Baptist Church Rd., Indian Trail, NC 28079. The family will receive friends from 11:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the church.
