The Woodlawn Chapel was built in 1955 and for 44 years was the home of the former St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church. Woodlawn Funeral Home acquired the property in 1999 and the building has continued to serve families of the community as it was originally intended. The Woodlawn Chapel will accommodate 175 persons and is available for use by our families for visiting with their family and friends as well as for use for a variety of services. Adjacent to the Woodlawn Chapel, the Magnolia Room is a spacious visiting room that is available for our families' use.
It is the mission of Woodlawn Funeral Home to assist in the recognition of the value of a life lived and to facilitate meaningful ways for the family and community to celebrate the memory of their loved one. In doing so we will care for each family with the same respect and dignity we would have afforded our own family in time of need.
Losing a loved one is never easy. When people experience loss, they need a strong support network to provide comfort and offer encouragement. The caring and experienced professionals at Woodlawn Funeral Home are here to support you through this difficult time. We are humbled that you chose our family to provide these services to your family in this time of need. We take great pride in what we do. At Woodlawn, our purpose is to:
