Cora Sue (Trull) Martin

Cora Sue Trull Martin, 81, passed away on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at Robin Johnson Hospice House. She was born in York County, SC, daughter of the late Grant and Pauline Eson Trull. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death her husband of 26 years, Whymer Jack Martin; and special friend, Louise Rhyne. She was retired from Pharr Yarns and a member of New Life Baptist Church, Stanley.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother as well as an excellent caregiver.

Mrs. Martin is survived by her son, Keith Roland McGinnis and wife Jackie of Dallas, a granddaughter, Suzanne Bridges and husband Jeffrey; three great-grandchildren, Kaleigh Bridges, Dakota Bridges, and Cale Bridges; and three very special friends, Bobbie Rhyne, Mary Handsel, and Doris Ballard.

The family would like to express their appreciation to the professional and caring staff of the Robin Johnson Hospice House.

A graveside service, to celebrate the life of Mrs. Martin, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, November 20, 2017 at Hillcrest Gardens Cemetery, Mount Holly with Pastors David McClure and Steve Bynum officiating. The family will receive friends on Monday from noon until 12:50 p.m. at Woodlawn Funeral Home of Mount Holly.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Robin Johnson Hospice House, 5005 Shepards Way Dr, Dallas, NC 28034. Woodlawn Funeral Home of Mount Holly is serving the family.
