Lisa Taylor Hamrick, 50, of Mt. Holly, passed away suddenly on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at her home. She was born in Mecklenburg County to the late Robert Lee Taylor and Velva Leigh Kistler Taylor. Lisa was the chapter secretary for the Order of Confederate Rose Petty Grey Belles Chapter. She absolutely loved to cross stitch and her favorite color was purple. Lisa also loved visiting Charleston. She adored her nieces and great nieces. Survivors left to cherish her memory include her husband Freddie; her brothers Kenneth Ray Taylor and Billy Ray Taylor; a sister Melanie Taylor Short; nieces Tonya Taylor, Heather and Haley Short; and great nieces Hadley and Harley Short. A memorial service will be held at 6:00 PM Wednesday, November 15 in the chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home in Mt. Holly, NC. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4 to 6:00 PM prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Order of Confederate Rose Petty Grey Belles Chapter, P.O.
