On Friday, December 22, Pauline Whitesides Wyatt, 91, of Alexis, went home to be with the Lord. She was born in Rutherfordton to the late Joseph Whitesides and Ella Rumfelt Whitesides. Pauline was a long-time member of Independent Tabernacle Baptist Church in Dallas. Those left to cherish her memory include her children Larry and Pat Wyatt, Bobby Wyatt, Gail and Richard Kirby, Judy and George Adams, and Kathy and Dale Garst; a sister Cora Herron; 23 grandchildren; 64 great grandchildren; 18 great-great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Jack Wyatt and by two children Marie Rudisill and Donna Goff. A service to celebrate her life will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 26, 2017 in the chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home in Mt. Holly. The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 2:00 p.m. prior to the service also at the funeral home.
