Charles Lee King “Chuck”, 69, of Gastonia, died Saturday, November 25, 2017 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia. Chuck was born in Gaston County to the late Windell Lee King and Dessie Ledford King. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Gary Lee King. Chuck worked as a foreman at Carver & Sons Sheet Metal and was known at the shop as "the king". He was a loving husband and father, worshiped his grand babies and loved to play his blue grass music. Left to cherish his memory include his wife Vickie Stamey King; his son Charles Jason King and his wife Ashley; three grandsons David, Noah, and Henry King; three sisters Martha Harrison, Rhonda Elliott (Ron), and Barbara Beaty; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service to celebrate Chuck's life will be held at 3:00 PM Tuesday, November 28 at Independent Tabernacle Baptist Church, 2128 Dallas Cherryville Highway, Dallas, NC.
